Pervasive Software is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year! Founded as Softcraft in 1982 by Doug and Nancy Woodward, and headquartered in Austin, Texas, Pervasive is a leading supplier of data infrastructure software. Over the years we have delivered our software tens of thousands of customers in more than 150 countries. Our loyal customer base has allowed us to succeed and grow, and we became a public company (PVSW: Nasdaq) in 1997. With consistent profitability and cash flow generation, Pervasive today enjoys a strong balance sheet reflecting healthy cash reserves and no debt.

One of the areas of Pervasive data infrastructure focus is building tools to help organizations of all sizes get a grip on their data problems. The challenges around data incompatibility are enormous - being able to read and write, migrate, extract and transform, and interface and exchange myriad data formats in an organization is a BIG headache. Incomplete and inaccurate data quality complicate the problem. To help organizations better tackle these challenges, in 2003 Pervasive bought another Austin software company, Data Junction, acquiring a complete family of tools to help users with data viewing, data extraction, data parsing, data loading, data conversion and data analysis. These products have also been tested in the marketplace for over 20 years, delivering price/performance breakthroughs. Pervasive invests in constant development around these tools, and we look forward to bringing our users exciting improvements for years to come.
