Today DataSynch for Use with QuickBooks and Salesforce uses a very simple scheduler routine. Basically the integration job is called by a MS Windows event at the top of each hour. This works just fine for the simple schedules, but what if a customer wants to adjust the schedule of have the integration run only once a day.
Enter DataSynch for Use with QuickBooks and Salesforce Version 2.0. With Version 2.0 the scheduler is a more sophisticated design. It reads a schedule from its own persisted calendar. This means that not only can the customer schedule integration runs for times that occur other than at the top of the hour, but the schedule does not need to be symmetrical. The integration can be scheduled to run around peak processing times so as to avoid waiting on orders during peak business hours, or avoid times when a demand is placed on bandwidth because of backup jobs.
