Why replicate?

We have officially launched our second product here at Pervasive DataSolutions, a data replication tool for your Salesforce.com data.  Many of you with IT departments probably know exactly why a replication tool like ours is so valuable, especially at the price point offered.  However, some of the smaller companies may not be aware of the benefit because you are too busy running your business.

The number one reason for replication is data analysis.   Everyone has had an experience where they've analysed data and found efficiencies.  It doesn't matter whether you are looking at monthly grocery expenditures or compared sales persons data with each other year over year.  Taking existing data and changing its perspective can show you some interesting things.

Salesforce does have incredible reporting tools, but it isn't economical to have everyone in the company on Salesforce to run reports when they want.  Having the data mirrored locally is faster less expensive than extra Salesforce seats.

If you bring our original product (DataSynch) into the mix, you can include your Quickbooks data in the Salesforce replication.  With your sales and accounting data available for reporting / analysis, more people in your company can find even more interesting things hidden in your data.
